Our Process

Selection of partner schools and scholarship recipients

Our financial management begins with the selection of partner schools and scholarship recipients. We pay tuition and fees to schools directly and distribute supplies to girls. Each transaction is signed for and tracked by staff and School Coordinators.

Our finances are audited each year in Nepal and in the United States, and oversight is further provided by dedicated boards of directors in both countries. In addition, the Social Welfare Council, the governing body of all non-profit work in Nepal, thoroughly reviews our finances and programs on an annual basis.

The Little Sisters Fund is an approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Idaho. Our tax ID number and EIN is 20-5581665.

Financial statements are usually completed in August for the previous calendar year.
