Our original scholarship program supports girls attending schools in Kathmandu and the surrounding area. These girls develop a one-to-one relationship with their sponsor through letter writing 5-6 times per year.

What sponsorship covers
Your sponsorship covers all tuition, fees, books and uniform costs for the Little Sister matched with you. In addition, thanks to you, we can provide her with school supplies, health supplies and access to all our supporting programs. Her family will also be involved through regular parents’ meetings.
3. What to expect
Once you become a sponsor, you’ll receive regular letters and updates from your Little Sister. Little Sisters in the Individual Sponsorship Program meet monthly to write letters to sponsors. You should receive your first letter from your Little Sister approximately 4-6 weeks after you are matched.
You’ll also have the opportunity to offer your Little Sister encouragement and support through regular letter writing. Little Sisters love receiving letters from their sponsors. It would be ideal if you could reply once or twice a year… or to every letter if you like. Your encouragement makes a huge difference.
Little Sisters enjoy reading about your family, your own educational experiences, your career or hobbies, current or cultural events and descriptions or stories about where you live. Sharing photos is another great way to connect!
